Event ScheduleWhat Is A Speaker Meeting?
A speaker meeting is where an Al-Anon or Alateen member shares their personal story to tell how the Al-Anon program helps them in their daily living. Some speaker meetings are delivered by an outside speaker, such as from Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) or the community, to speak about alcoholism. These will be noted.
Who May Attend?
Speaker meetings are limited to members and prospective members whose personal lives have been affected by someone else's drinking, unless it is specified as "Open." An "Open" meeting may be attended by anyone interested in Al-Anon, such as students, professionals, etc.

Let your group or club know and arrange a speaker meeting. Any group can host a speaker meeting anytime! Speaker meetings are a great place to learn and share more about Al-Anon and Alateen!
