The Houston Intergroup (Al-Anon Family Group Service, Inc.) is registered as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, with the IRS, and is "...self-supporting, declining outside contributions." –(Tradition Seven).

Many members from groups ask us where they should send group contributions, so we have provided this list below.
Intergroup, ETAAA, WSO Contributions
Houston Al-Anon Information Service, or "Intergroup"
This is the intergroup structure that supports the Houston Al-Anon office (Intergroup), serving groups and members in Houston and several surrounding counties. We provide information and literature for Districts 4, 5, and 7.

East Texas Area Al-Anon/Alateen Assembly (ETAAA)
ETAAA (serving East Texas Area, #53) maintains group records and area archives, performs many administrative and public outreach functions, and hosts Assembly meetings for all Al-Anon Districts of East Texas (see Texas Al-Anon, District Map (external)).
The ETAAA World Service Delegate (a DR elected for a three-year term), attends three annual conferences which serve Al-Anon worldwide, sharing information from the conferences with ETAAA and our local groups. Group contributions help support these functions.
