- Girlfriend:
- "I'm really independent, but my boyfriend is always depending on me. I wish I could get him to stop drinking, but I don't want to talk about it."
- (ex) Wife:
- "I'm here for my kids, but where's their father? His drinking is causing problems. I'm not the one who needs help. I'm the responsible one!"
- Husband:
- "My wife drinks too much sometimes. She's not dependable. It's hard to be responsible for everyone, but I manage it pretty well."
- Announcer:
- "Are you troubled by someone's drinking? You might be surprised at what you could learn in an Al-Anon Family Group meeting from people just like you."
