Pay Rate:
$13 to $16 per hour, negotiable with experience.
General Description:
Reports directly to the Board of Directors of the AFG Intergroup Corporation and carries out the directive of the Board.
Job Duties:
Staff Supervision
  • Train and supervise office staff.
  • Compile vacation request forms.
Office Management
  • Enter all expenditures in Quickbooks.
  • Verify all deposits for Quickbooks and take to bank.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit payroll.
  • Ensure payment of all bills.
  • Manage office expenditures to board-approved budget.
  • Compile and track data.
  • Create spreadsheets, Word documents, mail merges.
  • Monitor and order supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of special reports.
Bookstore Management
  • Supervise and manage part-time personnel.
Special Projects
  • Assist with all special events and programs.
Service Phone-line Management
  • Handle telephone calls and correspondence.
Support For Board of Directors
  • Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors.
  • Schedule meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date files in an organized manner.
Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of all office procedures.
  • Must have great computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Quickbooks.
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Must have at least four years in Al-anon, actively attending meetings, and working with sponsor.
