Intergroup Volunteer Information

An Intergroup Volunteer helps the Board of Directors with fundraising preparation and events or helps the Office with specific outreach requests.

There is always a need for ISRs (Information Service Representatives) and people to serve on the Board of Directors and Committees.

Let us know if you would like to:

  • Help the Board develop events and/or work at an event.
  • Help with a specific event: Face2Face, speaker meetings, workshops, fundraisers.
  • Be a Public Service Volunteer in the following capacity:
    • Take a meeting to someone in the hospital, a correctional facility, a nursing home.
    • Hand out literature at a local health fair, public facility (clinics, police stations, etc.)
    • Talk about Al-Anon to local AA Groups and schools/churches.

Call the office at 713-683-7227 for more information or email us at alanon@houstonalanon.org.
