Phone Volunteer Information

Phone Volunteers Answer telephones for the Intergroup Office. We offer a 24-hour answering service to families in need of local meetings or a 12-step call. This is a service that can be provided from your home or your cellphone.

We need people who are willing to be 12-step volunteers – returning a phone call to someone in need of some extended immediate one-on-one phone time.

And, of course, the phones are answered nights and weekends by our great volunteers.

Let Us Know

Let us know if you would like to:

  • Answer the phones days, nights and/or weekends.
  • Answer a 12th-Step call.
  • Be a Holiday Phone volunteer (answer the phone in the daytime on major holidays)
  • Be a substitute phone volunteer (answer the phone when an emergency or unavailability arises with our usual phone volunteers)
